The Founder
My name is Hans Woods and I am the founder of this Correspond.​ My journey began when I came to the United States as an intern, an experience that shaped my career and life in ways I never imagined. It opened doors to countless opportunities, broadened my horizons, and gave me the confidence to eventually start Correspond. I was born in the Netherlands, and as of 2024 I am a naturalized US citizen. My personal experience has now created a passion for me to help like-minded individuals achieve their goals of working and living abroad. This has created my mission to guide aspiring professionals from around the world in their pursuit of internships and traineeships in the United States, helping them create their own unforgettable life experiences.

Before starting Correspond...
I built a diverse professional background by working on projects for big tech giants like Google and Meta in the Silicon Valley. I also had the honor to work for Turo in San Francisco. You can find my LinkedIn verifications on my LinkedIn profile by clicking the checkmark on top of my profile. I also specialized in facilitating J-1 visas and I have assisted over 100 individuals obtaining their J-1 visa for an internship or traineeship during the year of 2024. Having stayed in the USA on two J-1 visas myself, I deeply understand both the challenges of the visa process as well as the long-term rewards when participants receive their training in the USA. I bring this perspective to every client I work with.
